Almost eight years after his historical appearance at the Apollo Theater, resulting in one of the greatest live albums of all time, James Brown released what would be his greatest live album of the 1970s, Sex Machine . Produced by the Godfather of Soul himself, Sex Machine was a double album, with the majority of it recorded during a 1969 show at the Bell Auditorium in Augusta, Georgia.
