There is "a tremendous buzz" among at least a dozen lawyers involved in the James Brown estate and trusts, following the S.C. Supreme Court's surprise decision to stay the proceedings and gather up the orders for review. Last week, the Supreme Court stayed all the proceedings of the Aiken County Circuit Court involving the Estate and Trusts of James Brown and the marital status of Tomi Rae Hynie Brown.
