BOOTSY'S RUBBER BAND Funk music is all about the rhythm section - more so than any other genre save for that illegitimate child it had with disco, hiphop. The greatest funk band of all time is Parliament/Funkadelic, and their bassist was the mighty Bootsy Collins, formerly of James Brown's legendary band.
